I’ve been doing media/communications work for around 20 years: media/public relations, news, event coordination and planning, along with writing and producing collateral materials while working with a number of diverse creative teams. My content experience includes alternative energy, energy technologies, renewables & environment, public health, government, and business.
My work experience spans both the U.S. and Europe. I have worked in various sectors including green technology, health, oil & gas, international non-profit and international trade. I am a former public relations executive for the 10th largest independent media agency in the United States, and, prior to this agency work, I was a producer in the Washington, D.C. bureaus of CNN and Fox News Channel from 1997 to 2005. Before returning to the United States, I was a PR executive in Prague, Czech Republic, where I handled brand clients such as Pilsner Urquell, Citroen and ING Bank. I began my career in media at the Wisconsin State Legislature, where I conducted press relations from 1990 to 1994. I am a graduate of Beloit College and hold a master’s degree in journalism from The American University in Washington, D.C.
